My camera didn't want to focus in the low light – or maybe I was shivering in the cold wind on the front porch – but you get the idea. Our late-afternoon view was unusually colorful today.
7:30 a.m., looking east toward Warwick Neck from Oakland Beach. The sky is as sumptuous, in its pearly early-morning way, as the western sky at sunset.
The geese like early mornings, too. Click photos to enlarge.
Many thanks to Steve for featuring one of my sunset photographs on his Sunset Pictures Web site! I'm in wonderful company there. Y'all go over and take a look around.
O happy night, first night before the day, night that is no night but perfect radiance, night that still shines and shall forever shine: .... Your clear beauty masters the shadow.
